Boat Ramp

You MUST display a boat ramp parking pass in your vehicle if you plan to park at the boat ramp. This pass must match your vehicles license plate, towing will be enforced.
The following rules are intended to address problems brought forth by members and to satisfy insurance and liability concerns.
- The boat launch shall be used by Tull’s Bay Colony Property Owners and family members only. Property owner must be present when ramp and key are in use. Please keep gate locked to ensure that non-members are not able to use our launch. This is for maintenance and liability reasons.
- If a boat has to be trailered, a non-refundable ramp key can be obtained for $50.00 from the association.
- Keys are NOT to be loaned nor copied for family and non-members.
- Property owners and multi property owners with additional empty lots will only be issued one (1) key. Multi property owners with home/rentals on each property may be issued one (1) key for each of those properties with a non-refundable fee of $50.00 each.
- Keys will NOT be issued to renters. If property owners wish to allow use of ramp to renters, they must provide own key and provide copy of the “Tull’s Bay Colony Grounds and Boat Ramp/Launch Rules” to the renter. Any and all violations of rules by renters will be reflected upon said property owner.
- If key is lost or stolen the owner should report it to association board. If owner elects to obtain a second key there will be an additional $50.00 non-refundable fee. Loss of second key could result in restricted or curtailed use of the boat launch for violation of this rule.
- Multiple violations of boat launch rules can result in loss of use to ramp launch for a time no less than 90 days. Owners are required to return any and all keys if requested by oral/written request by TBCPOA Board members. Individuals will then need to submit a request for use of ramp and reissue of key as well as additional $50.00 nonrefundable fee to the Tull’s Bay Colony Property Owners Association Board.
- All watercraft, including personal watercraft must observe the no wake rules inside launch cove and all canals.
- Use of Dock: Due to limited dock space and increased boat usage, we request that the docks not be utilized as picnic sites. This is not to suggest that families without boats cannot use the dock areas; rather, large groups for a long period of time are discouraged.
- With reference to the association property, in general, your assistance is requested in keeping it clean and attractive. Dumping or placing of debris on association property is in violation of the law.
- Parking: Parking of boat trailers shall be in the association owned lot adjacent to the boat ramp and NOT on the grassy area of the ramp. All guest vehicles should be at home owner’s property.
- Absolutely no overnight parking on any of the Tull’s Bay Colony Property to include the Community Center.
- No swimming or fishing in the area of the boat launch and courtesy dock.
- Any accidents or damage at ramp launch should be reported immediately to any TBCPOA Board member.
